2:01 AM means today i'm going away from this ol' lovely town!
so today i went to my grandparents' house to pick up my cutcopy shirt amanda,my cousin made me (she's in this company where they make band shirts) and as soon as i got back home......................i """wrecked""" it and made it as a crop top. again. She also gave me a justice t-shirt (fo free mudafuggazzz) but i decided to give it to Tomi :-)

so yeah i'm off to Turkey, London, and several cities in Italy for the next 2 weeks. I'm bringing my SLR camera and my fisheye too, i'm really hoping that i could take nice pictures. By far Charlavail is still my inspiration, she's a perfect human being. your argument is invalid. yep.

I'm beyond excited for sonisphere by the way, it's this kind of music festival in London. can't believe i'll be watching All Time Low, You Me At Six, Anberlin, Weezer, and Sum 41 in one day i mean is this even real hahaha.

I'm also excited to go shopping at topshop which people say they sell with cheaper price there in LDN, oh and urban outfitters..even though you all know they sell clothes that aren't even worth the price.

I mean.. don't get me wrong they sell amazing clothes et cetera but the price is just shocking lololol

oh and drop dead!!! i hope i can meet oli sykes..or tom...or even amanda hendrick.

yeah i should be asleep...i'm gonna have to wake up early in the morning since my mom will be nagging me to go to the gym. and oh all time low's ticket presale is tomorrow, i'm gonna buy it online though. well now there's 2 reasons why i should sleep right now.

so we meet again.
I had a wonderful night last night.
i watched The Trees And The Wild for the 2nd time (THEY'RE AWESOME check them out) in backyard coffee bintaro. I can guess the owner is one of Maliq&d'essential's members since the workers there wear maliq t-shirts and they actually sell them merchz.
so yeah me nadira agatha and alia went there at 8ish. 21st night played first, we stayed outside though...TTATW was outside too, not far from us and i was really tempted to take a pic with them butttt i was too scared haha (weird)
and so ttatw started the gig, Remedy (the vocalist, yes i know he has a beautiful name. full name : Remedy Waloni. + he's handsome..yeah i'm using the word handsome instead of cute) said we should watch while siting down since their songs aren't upbeat songs and so we chill.
Nadira really wanted to see "Berlin" played live and they played it last night!!!!!! i was so happy too though since it's a really good song. They played a couple of songs, and ended the set with the song "Irish Girl" a song that people often know.. you can say it's a mainstream song by them..not in general. The drummer of Maliq&d'essential played the drums (pas irish girl doang) and it was amazing. i almost cried it was so beautiful omygod and they played another song after irish girl since "we wanted more"

oH funny story. jadi kan while watching nadira asked me to order a cup of coffee for his driver since he's sick. i didn't pay attn because i was enjoying ttatw so much and then the guy behind the counter yang gue mintain kopi............adalah..................drummer nya maliq. i mean, how awkward is that??? hahahahah
video nya agak kurang jelas bytheway...but yeah it was better live (obviously) kayak lebih """kena""" gitu hahaha.

i bought the merch. a t-shirt and it was too big for me so i cut it and made another cropped top T!

last night i also ended up staying at nadira's place (shankz nad) and today we went to soto kudus blok m for lunch with tante Dian a.k.a her mom, it was fun..we played would you rather and it confused me so much! she asked things like "would you rather queen hidup lagi trs mama nonton or nonton andrea bocelli for once every 3 months?"to her mom and "would you rather fall out boy balikan atau nonton warped tour setiap taun?" she tried to fuck my brainZzZ.
Oh and she gave me a can of blue sasha hahaha i just sprayed the tip of my hair. And my sister kinda sprayed Marco's ears and tail too......blue puppy is blue.

i've been reading "the perks of being a wallflower" (thank you nadira for borrowing me the book!) the reason i read it was because Pete [wentz] mentioned it in his "speech"

and then i read it in front of my cousin who's a big fan of harry potter and she kinda freaked out because emma watson is playing in the movie the perks..i didn't even know they were filming it.
turns ouuutttt it was the movie where emma and logan were co-starzzzz
the book is about a 15 year old boy living his life yaaadayaadayaada (baca sendiri)

Jagkhearta, jakarta.

so! last week, or is it? yeah well me and my friends went touring around Jakarta by Busway.
it was a tiring, yet awesome journey..
at 8, we all went to the halte busway yang di blok M, we didn't stop allll the way down to kota tua.
the first destination was museum bank mandiri, first time i went there.. to be honest the place was kinda creepy, reminds me of canicius somehow though lol.
and then we walked to museum fatahillah. We rented a couple of bikes (I CAN'T RIDE SO GUE DI BONCENG UHUY!) half of us went inside the museum, yeah been there before but it was still cool.
we chilled around fatahillah & the alun" for a couple of hours yeah felt good.
and then we all went for lunch not far from there. From theree we went all the way to monas! we didn't go up because it was hella crowded. We actually ended up chilling and doing nothing..being stupid and all. It was Angel's birthday jadi kita menyiram yay!
The fact that i didn't bring my fish eye made me a little bummed but thanks to all of the kids who brought their cameras all was well!
from monas Michelle, Abi, daniel,Ayu, Tiara, Chacha, and I went walking to GI..seriously, i thought it was a short walk........but no it wasn't believe me. Abi and Ayu ended up taking a taxi though lol -_-
at GI i had a bowl of yoshinoya yurrmz!
so yeah that was one of the funnest days of my summer. Believe me the day was longer than this,but i summed up the story.
Before this Jakarta trip me and my 14 qurlfriendz went to Puncak to rest. We stayed in my Villa, nice place..thanks eyang for letting us crash it.
we stayed for 3 days, what we did : eat,sleep,repeat.
no seriously, we only did that. well yeah some of us went swimming and watch some dvds hahaha.
we should that again but i suggest next time we bring ABC and the boys with us! yeah????!

sooo, i'm 15 now and my birthday party went good! a couple of friends went to my house to surprise me hehe (big thanks to machupiccu) they gave me:

We went to KOI mahakan for my birthday brunch, all went well..we had fun and the food was great.

yesterday, June 20th, my friends and I went to Aliq's house to have a BBQ party, it end up as a pool party though. I had soooooooo much fun we all went swimming at night. that's what i call a night to remember. The food was also great, thanks to chef Michelle ;)
we had some ribs, le steak, nachos..and durian. for those who's wondering, no i don't like durian thank you.
I think the pictures aren't up on facebook yet, but yeah you can imagine 20-ish kids girls and boys swimming at night. we were screaming and laughing, some were chatting at the pool side and stuff. We also played with Aliq's chairs in the pool (broke one..sorry about that liq) hahaha some slept over at aliq's but some went home, yeah i went home and Agatha decided to stay in my house for the night.
so guys, thank you so much! I don't want this post to be a sappy,mushy,filled with goodbyes one.
We shall do it again!!!!!!!! my house, perhaps? :-D

post concert depression

well...after 5 days of waiting i finally decided to write about this today.
where to start where to start....okay i'm just gonna make this post as a diary

Friday, Feb 13th 2011
I had school this day, it went well.. until javamusikindo twitpic-ed pictures of the "guys" arriving here in Jakarta. I freaked out at school. yep.
and then i went to mayestik to buy 2 pairs of plain white shoes for me and Alia. We actually planned on asking the band dudes ( and girl) to sign it but i kinda forgot.. Alia got some of their autographs on one of the shoes though.
And then I went home, packed, and went off to Airlangga (the apartment next to Ritz Carlton, It connects to the hotel and they share the same pool area) my cousin currently lives there so i got a place to stay for a night before i check in.
I met up with Alia at 3ish, chilled at the lobby...met The Downtown Fiction there but we weren't allowed to take pictures. yep the securities were assholes but we get to say hi to them. Cameron wore this tiger hat, a batik shirt, and blue raybans. swag : on.
after a moment of fangirling we decided to go to the 2nd floor (tempat m&g) me shana and alia sat there for awhile until Hey Monday passed. Cassadee was beautiful i was surprised and when we said hi they all replied in a friendly way..as they walked we couldn't stop looking at them hahaha creepy! then cass said "SEE YA TOMORROW!!" with a big smile on her face. damn she was so nice. they were all so nice, actually.
and then me nadia alia and shana went to the oakwood to grab some dinner at chopstix, shana said my kwetiau tasted like ketek............okay.
after a nice dinner i went up to the apartment and chilled. ngga chill juga sih i couldn't stop thinking about the next day and the band dudes and girl haha. Went to starbucks with my cousins to have a nice warm coffee. haha didn't meet anyone ~special~ though. *le sad face

Saturday, Feb 14th 2011
TODAY WAS THE DAY. HOLY SHITTTT!!!!
i got up early (is 9 am early??) i went to the pool to check, no one. alrighty.
at 1 pm we checked in to the hotel. as we were sitting around the lobby we saw 4 familiar guys walking with a bunch of security..there were no fans though it took me awhile to realize they were ARTTM!!! i rushed to them..hahah the security shouted at me "JANGAN LARI!!" i didn't care i ran to halvo and hugged him immediately, took a pic with him

and then i went to ANDREW!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's been my fav ever since God knows when. He was the nicest to me (wait till you read the sunday story)

(look at him being all perfect meanwhile i was this......idk man)
next up JUSTIN!!!!!! he was standing there awkwardly by himself so i asked to take a picture together hahahaha

i was really nervous and unready haha i looked horrible in all of those pictures :''''(
i didn't want to and didn't get the chance to take a picture with nick because he was all diva-ish so yeah....
hahahah after that we went to the venue.
I met lots of friends there!!! concert and school friends. Made a couple of new friends too! so sad my BB was still broken back then so i couldn't add their bb pins. I had a kebab before the show. Yum!
When the gate opened i got the barricade!!! after a longggg long time waiting .................

TDF went out and rocked the venue aka my house aka tennis indoor senayan! I WAS REALLY HAPPY OMG WESADJN I KNEW ALL OF THE SONGS THEY PLAYED EXCEPT SHE KNOWS because it's a new song and i haven't heard all of their new songs from their newest album "let's be animals" (check it out brah!)
i sang along loudly happily cheery etc etc. dammit they were goooooood!!!

i got really tired and annoyed so i offered my ~new friend~ my spot which is the barricade side. he got reallyyyy grateful hahahahaaha so i went to the back and met agatha dani etc. I stayed there until Hey Monday finished their set.
wow. just wow. and cassadee's outfit was amazing as alwaaays! 2 of my fav songs of Hey Monday got played berturut" yay!

Last but not least ARTTM!!
Agatha and I went out of the crowd though we were so exhausted, the spot was pretty good we met a couple of people we know but still didn't find shana etc.
they were uh ma zing. and the crowd was crazy wild i was surprised myself!
the setlist was awesome too hahahaha when they played fear of flying i peed in my pants i am not even kidding ha aihkdbfwdlu halvo looked cute as always..stupidly cute.

my journey was : barricade - middle - out from the crowd. it was still a good spot i must say i could see everything hahaha.
so actually this show was one of the best shows ever. Jujur jakjam gada apa" nya sama ini jakjam gue gapuas sama sekaliiii dibanding ini super puas and sama harga tiket juga super duper untung!
after the show ARTTM went out and did a signing sesh.

 i got my ipod and ticket signed! the one on my ipod wasn't too visible though. "i'll meet them again though don't worry" i thought..
after everything was done me jess fira ica and alia went to 7eleven to buy some food. I only brought a cup(??) of pop mie and a bottled water. then we got a taxi and went to the hotel.
in the hotel we met kak indi! yeah she didn't go to the show but she decided toooooo stay with us!
after a warm relaxing shower at 2 am (NO PIG DEAL) i went to sleep while listening to kak indi rapping..i don't know ok.

Sunday, Feb 15th 2011
waaahhhhhhh so tired man but we woke up super early (THE THINGS I DO FOR MY FAVORITE BANDS.)
6 am. le procrastinated for awhile.. at 7 we went down to have breakfast.
OH LOOK HEY MONDAY!!
i talked to cassadee for awhile..she was too nice to handle hahaha. after we talked i was like enjoy the food cass! TRUS GUE TOEL PUNGGUNG NYA HAHAHAHAH KESALAHAN BESAR. biarin.
cass only had waffles meanwhile the great alex lipshaw probably went to get food for 10+++ times. yep.
I got Mike on the phone, tried to call shinta but turned out she was taking a shower. i'd cut myself if i were her hahaha just kidding!
not long after that ARTTM showed up. hi andrew................ halvo looked nice. nick looked pretty stupid no offense fans of nick, he was using sunnies inside. why?
as we queued for the "american breakfast" i heard nick talking to lipshaw "yeah the crowd was crazy!! i didn't even sing i was filming them with my camera they were louder than me!" i guess he didn't notice i was a fan hahaha until i casually said "hey nick" and he was like "oh hey" agak sombong.. tadinya mau ngobrol sama halvo trs dimarahin security nya bete bgt trs gondok sendiri akirnya..
tdf didn't show up btw, they woke up at 12. living the life much??? hahahaha!
We talked to andrewbbylv for awhile, he promised to meet us at the pool. when we went out the restaurant he was like wanting to go towards us but the security won't let him and he was kinda upset. i'm sorry andrew........ i hate them too!
after a long time waiting in the gazebo me jess and kak indi went to the elevator next to the spa because one of the crew which is our friend said they were in the hot tub (lol!) we met them! this is the part where i hated nick the most. he wore his shades..okay. it was dark inside. we talked to andrew pretty long while waiting for the elevator. nick sok pura" galiat padahal tempat nya ga gede dan dia sok asik. halvo gada, justin cmn senyum..still nice but nick oh my God. Andrew was the nicest! pas lift nya udah sampe dia udh di tarik" security, nick udah kyk pasang muka "come on man" yes muka bete,dia gajadi hang soalnya mau pergi keluar hotel. i was okay with that since i mean kapan lg ke jakarta kan. pas security narik he shrugged and in all that chaos dia masih blg "hey guys what's your names? i need to know!" i was like "dinda nice to meet you heheeh" while shaking his hand "so i'll meet you guys at the lobby then!" dia sebenenrya pengen hang tp pgn pergi juga dan gaenak sama anak" lain.. masih mikirin dua pihak baik bgt no?
after that we went to the oakwood by a shuttle car shaped golfcart. pas turun there was halvo and justin, halvo re-signed my ipod so it looks nicer now haha they went eating upstairs at waroeng kampoeng. oh hey monday balik duluan!!!! so sad didn't get the chance to take a pic but met lipshaw smoking at the poolside!
while waiting for them to eat suddenly we saw TDF casually walking to starbucks (le creep)

. the fans got wild so the security got angry haha. after they all finish eating i got the chance to take a pic with andrew and hugged him so tight. my goal actually was to hug him for the last time haha sounds cheesy.. i kinda cried when he hugged me back it felt so right idk.

when we took a pic together the security got pissed but andrew pushed the security and held me tighter he was like "just one photo please just one"^^^^
 and then off they go.. (CREEPER ALERT! HHAHA)

after thaaaaat (wooh long post..) TDF turuuun! yaaaayyyy
i got the chance to hug them all and got 1 personal pic with the one and only cameron leahy. LAY.HE.

Bad news from the zone, vultures.

Hello Vultures

It is with sadness that we would like to announce that May 7th will be Devin’s last show with VersaEmerge. There are absolutely no hard feelings and we 100 percent support his decision to leave and be with his wife and newborn baby. If you plan on coming out to see us on the remaining dates of the Alternative Press tour please say hello to Devin and give him a fond farewell.

VersaEmerge will continue on and as strong as ever. We are excited to head to the UK and Europe next month for our first headline tour overseas and to begin writing new songs this summer. We cannot wait to see everyone!

Four years and many memories later, it has finally come time for me to throw in my tour towel. Recently I married the love of my life and witnessed the birth of my son and find it harder and harder to leave the two most amazing things in my life. As a band we have accomplished so many things together and in no way will I regret how far we have grown as a band. With that being said, I encourage each and every one of you to continue to support Blake and Sierra through the rest of their musical endeavors as VersaEmerge. Despite me leaving I know deep in my heart that Versa will continue to translate their perspective on life and transcribe it into the amazing sounds you know and latch on to. Thank you all for all the support, love, and on going excitement you have shown the band and I through all the things that tried to bring us down. And as for me.. I will continue to pursue being the best husband and father and the rest will fall into place. God Bless!

this morning i felt really shitty, my dad keeps talking about maroon 5's concert tonight..the "rubbing-it-all-over-my-face" kind of way, yeah he got 2 tickets and he keeps telling me to come, as you guys know i still have ooone more national exam tomorrow which is SCIENCE. So okay enough about me.
Yeah this morning, me, the girl who feels like crap began to scroll her twitter timeline. Suddenly my friend shinta was all panicky and i asked what the hell is going on (i could predict that it was something related to bands already though) she said you, devin, is leaving VersaEmerge. I tried to hold my tears..It was too early to know this news..or rumor. But as i refreshed my twitter timeline i saw AP's and your tweet about you leaving VersaEmerge. so it's true.....ok.
I know the reason and i think you made a wise decision. Although i feel bummed and all i think leaving the band is the best decision for you your wife and your baby. So thanks a bunch for the music, i promise i won't stop supporting VE and your family until the end of time. I know you'll be an amazing father. Thanks injello :')

i still don't have the perfect words for this post.
I know a single post won't be enough to thank all of you guys, and I think a single thank you from me isn't even enough. Maybe I made mistakes for the past 3 years, maybe you guys think i'm annoying, especially when i say the word "mager", maybe i wasn't the special someone for you, maybe you didn't like me.
For all the bad things that i've done for the past 3 years with you all.. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize. Maybe a single sorry doesn't mean anything, maybe you deserve more.. But all i can say is that we are about to struggle through UAN week and then there we go.. high school. Some of us might not meet each other again, some of us might forget about the beautiful past we spent together, some of us might forget about someone from one of us. So why not forgive each other?
Then again......what the hell man this is too fast. Soon enough we're gonna keep our uniforms in our closets..leave them there.

Congratulations on your upcoming College graduation! Since you are graduating I’m going to write to you like I’m writing to fellow adult, because you are and you’re about to head out into the world on your own and win some of lifes exciting battles!

The first thing I’m going to say is, your queston couldn’t have been more vague or, pardon me for saying, lazily asked. It was kindof asked in a “Mom, where’s the food?” manor. My first suggestion is for you to stand up out of your chair, look in a mirror and say “Yo! I’m about to grab the world with my left hand and smack it all up and down the street with my right!” now sit back down. We’re gonna talk about how YOU can get wherever YOU want to get in life!

You must be pro-active my friend… I went and looked at your tumblr. I did some reading and found that you’re being awarded a degree in International Studies or Affairs or something like that… I also read that you “HATE school” and that you “studied a subject someone else chose for you” (forgive me for paraphrasing). I didn’t find out if you are a girl or a dude, but it doesn’t really matter, because anyone can do what you are about to do. Anyone can take on the world. Anyone can stand up and walk out the door and walk up a hill that becomes a mountain… YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO JUST THAT IF YOU WANT TO… HERE IS HOW

1. Sell everything you own that does not get you closer to your dream. Televisions and collections or dumb stuff is the first to go. If you have a gaming system you are not allowed to complain about not having money. If you eat fast food instead of making peanut butter and jelly, you are not allowed to complain about not having money. If you drink beer (or anything that costs more than tap water) you are not allowed to complain about not having money. Ingenuity is so SEXY and if you think I’m kidding, watch people’s faces when you tell them stories about how you make the impossible things possible via ingenuity. You are the only thing in your way.

2. Stop reading defeatest crap like Chuck Palaniuk… seriously, you’re asking me for advice and entertaining negative ideas like this? Just so we’re clear, I read this on your blog…

3. Do you know what you want to do? “What we want to do” is often funded by “What we can do”.
Did you know you can take the Bolt Bus from D.C. to Philli, New York or Boston for 20$!! You can get your money together, find a hotel room and take your best friend to a city on the Eastern Seaboard and apply for a job “You can do” while you intern at the “Job you want to do” whenever you are not working at the job “You can do”
— This is the point where I really want to tell you about my experiences with sleeping on people’s floors, couches, in my car… without heat, hot water, eating garbage… but you’re just going to have to wait for the book.

I would never wish hardships on anyone, but I promise your hardships will prove to be more valuable than you’ll ever know.

4.GET OBSESSED!!
Get obsessed with whatever it is that you want to do… Put it first. Treat it like your significant other. Be prepared to miss everything, every important day, there are no such things as holidays in an obsessed world, there is no weekend… there isn’t even really a night or day… there is no lunch, there is no lunch break… GET OBSESSED!!!
People love to go to the theatre and cry into a 20$ bucket of popcorn over an inspiring Will Smith movie, where he sleeps in the bathroom and figures out Rubics Cubes… nobody wants to be the one cleaning the toilets at the movie theatre… I’m gonna let you in on a secret… The person who cleans the toilets watches free movies, eats free popcorn and gets paid to do all of it. DO YOU GET MY DRIFT?
Lacers… you don’t have to be in a hurry to get out of anywhere… You have to find your dream. Fall in love with it. Become obsessed with it. Live your life chasing it. Living your life, chasing a dream means not every having to worry about where you are in the process. The opinions of others mean nothing to a person obsessed with the life they are living!
I truly believe that you can find your dream, plan it out and chase it for the rest of your life… smiling most all of the way.

alive 'n kickin

ey long time no post! got lots of stories to tell. (well it's still about concerts tho)

so last week i watched two concerts! the first one was Bring Me The Horizon (Feb 19th) and the 2nd concert was JakJam 2011 day 1, the bands were Never Shout Never, I See Stars, and We The Kings. From scale 1 to 10 BMTH was 9 (yes it was THAT awesome) they wore baju barong and celana batik...too cute. The mosh pit was huge and amazing, though i didn't join because i thought wasn't ready.
let's move on to the 2nd concert
Never Shout Never was the first band that played, sucks they only played 7 songs. But when they played the last song which was my favorite song (Big city dreams)..let's just say this -> \__/ is a bucket full of my creys, that song really brings back memories (summer 2009) my emotions always go wild every time i hear that song especially hearing it live though oh my God. Cdrew was AAADDOOORBBBSSS without even trying he looked so sweet i couldn't stop squealing he even waved at me aukdbjwikfj lv u. and i think they were half stoned ahahaha they looked a little funny.. NSN's score : 8.
2nd band was I See Stars, so here's a story : their flight from London to turkey was delayed so when they arrived in turkey the flight to Indonesia left them so they had to wait until the next day. They arrived at 6 pm..imagine that!! they had to perform at 8-ish, and yeah the sound system really sucked but i think we could all understand that due to their situation back then. They played some new songs, i think they only played like 5 songs? sad story eh.. ISS' score : 6,8 :( (although i met them and i still can't believe that i actually took a pic with Jeff Valentine God he's a hot guy).
last but NOT least : We The Kings!! they played 12 songs..i think and they were AMAZING!!! travis told us a couple of stories that made us, the crowd that is, awwed and laughed and flattered etc etc. he looked so nice and so did the other guys. WTK's score : 8,5
