Bad news from the zone, vultures.
Hello Vultures
It is with sadness that we would like to announce that May 7th will be Devin’s last show with VersaEmerge. There are absolutely no hard feelings and we 100 percent support his decision to leave and be with his wife and newborn baby. If you plan on coming out to see us on the remaining dates of the Alternative Press tour please say hello to Devin and give him a fond farewell.
VersaEmerge will continue on and as strong as ever. We are excited to head to the UK and Europe next month for our first headline tour overseas and to begin writing new songs this summer. We cannot wait to see everyone!

Here is a special message from Devin…
Four years and many memories later, it has finally come time for me to throw in my tour towel. Recently I married the love of my life and witnessed the birth of my son and find it harder and harder to leave the two most amazing things in my life. As a band we have accomplished so many things together and in no way will I regret how far we have grown as a band. With that being said, I encourage each and every one of you to continue to support Blake and Sierra through the rest of their musical endeavors as VersaEmerge. Despite me leaving I know deep in my heart that Versa will continue to translate their perspective on life and transcribe it into the amazing sounds you know and latch on to. Thank you all for all the support, love, and on going excitement you have shown the band and I through all the things that tried to bring us down. And as for me.. I will continue to pursue being the best husband and father and the rest will fall into place. God Bless!

this morning i felt really shitty, my dad keeps talking about maroon 5's concert tonight..the "rubbing-it-all-over-my-face" kind of way, yeah he got 2 tickets and he keeps telling me to come, as you guys know i still have ooone more national exam tomorrow which is SCIENCE. So okay enough about me.
Yeah this morning, me, the girl who feels like crap began to scroll her twitter timeline. Suddenly my friend shinta was all panicky and i asked what the hell is going on (i could predict that it was something related to bands already though) she said you, devin, is leaving VersaEmerge. I tried to hold my tears..It was too early to know this news..or rumor. But as i refreshed my twitter timeline i saw AP's and your tweet about you leaving VersaEmerge. so it's true.....ok.
I know the reason and i think you made a wise decision. Although i feel bummed and all i think leaving the band is the best decision for you your wife and your baby. So thanks a bunch for the music, i promise i won't stop supporting VE and your family until the end of time. I know you'll be an amazing father. Thanks injello :')

i still don't have the perfect words for this post.
I know a single post won't be enough to thank all of you guys, and I think a single thank you from me isn't even enough. Maybe I made mistakes for the past 3 years, maybe you guys think i'm annoying, especially when i say the word "mager", maybe i wasn't the special someone for you, maybe you didn't like me.
For all the bad things that i've done for the past 3 years with you all.. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize. Maybe a single sorry doesn't mean anything, maybe you deserve more.. But all i can say is that we are about to struggle through UAN week and then there we go.. high school. Some of us might not meet each other again, some of us might forget about the beautiful past we spent together, some of us might forget about someone from one of us. So why not forgive each other?
Then again......what the hell man this is too fast. Soon enough we're gonna keep our uniforms in our closets..leave them there.
just imagine.. 5 years from now. You're looking for something inside your closet and suddenly you accidentally grabbed something familiar. it's a uniform you once wore for 3 years, and then you start to cry..remembering those days.
Remember Tarlim cup XI? how we did everything together so cheerfully? helping each other and stuff. yeah it's called team work.
TVXI emang solid banget. Sumpah gue gatau lagi mau ngomong apa sebenernya.. bukan karena ngga berkesan, tapi karena udah speechless. Ngga salah kan banggain angkatan sendiri?
kita udah ngelewatin hal" yg nyenengin maupun enggak.. tapi liat, in the end we admit we still love each other, ngga cewe ngga cowo. sumpah gue nggatau nanti SMA gimana.
Gue nanti di PSKD Mandiri sendirian, to be honest gue belom siap sama sekali. Maybe i feel stoked and all but leaving you guys? nah, not stoked at all.
Gue yakin, biarpun kita nanti bilang "jangan sombong-sombong ya" dll, kita pasti ngga akan sedeket dulu --> that's what i'm scared of.
you know what, i'd make you guys a line and kiss you guys one by one. hahaha i'm serious.
Op and to 8-2 2k10 crew, YOU GUYS MADE MY YEAR. sayang dulu kalo ngga masuk pas kelas 8.
pasti adaaaaa aja yang ketinggalan. lo semua gila, c i n t a gue sama lo semua.

mungkin kita sempet berantem kan ya, trus sebego" dan selucu" nya kita nyelesein masalah kita masih nyoba nyelesein sendiri kan tanpa guru? hahaha. we're strong guys.
mungkin ini post kurang apa dan agak labil di bagian bahasa hahaha tapi this is for you guys. emang abal ini, mungkin entar gue bikin lagi yang lebih bagus tapi baru ini yang ~*~melintas~*~ dikepala gue.

struggle
when you tell someone to go online; feeling excited,nervous,wanting more after having an awesome conversation the other night before with the same person..
But you feel like there's something wrong. Like you're actually talking to a different person by reading their current mood. Everything feels different from the night before, why? Did I do something wrong? Do you think I'm annoying?
From the bottom of my heart I apologize for every mistake i've done. Then the reason is actually pretty simple..
I only wanna talk to you.
And then you began to wonder..why would I want to talk to you?
sometimes people don't realize.... that they mean the world to someone.

Congratulations on your upcoming College graduation! Since you are graduating I’m going to write to you like I’m writing to fellow adult, because you are and you’re about to head out into the world on your own and win some of lifes exciting battles!
The first thing I’m going to say is, your queston couldn’t have been more vague or, pardon me for saying, lazily asked. It was kindof asked in a “Mom, where’s the food?” manor. My first suggestion is for you to stand up out of your chair, look in a mirror and say “Yo! I’m about to grab the world with my left hand and smack it all up and down the street with my right!” now sit back down. We’re gonna talk about how YOU can get wherever YOU want to get in life!
You must be pro-active my friend… I went and looked at your tumblr. I did some reading and found that you’re being awarded a degree in International Studies or Affairs or something like that… I also read that you “HATE school” and that you “studied a subject someone else chose for you” (forgive me for paraphrasing). I didn’t find out if you are a girl or a dude, but it doesn’t really matter, because anyone can do what you are about to do. Anyone can take on the world. Anyone can stand up and walk out the door and walk up a hill that becomes a mountain… YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO JUST THAT IF YOU WANT TO… HERE IS HOW
1. Sell everything you own that does not get you closer to your dream. Televisions and collections or dumb stuff is the first to go. If you have a gaming system you are not allowed to complain about not having money. If you eat fast food instead of making peanut butter and jelly, you are not allowed to complain about not having money. If you drink beer (or anything that costs more than tap water) you are not allowed to complain about not having money. Ingenuity is so SEXY and if you think I’m kidding, watch people’s faces when you tell them stories about how you make the impossible things possible via ingenuity. You are the only thing in your way.
2. Stop reading defeatest crap like Chuck Palaniuk… seriously, you’re asking me for advice and entertaining negative ideas like this? Just so we’re clear, I read this on your blog…

I don’t feel bad for quitters… quitting is a choice and it’s a choice you can change every day. Every time I meet a quitter or a negative person I work twice as hard, because I’m fueled by it. I don’t read defeatest manafestos or romanticise negative things. I have far enough to climb without putting rocks in my pockets or on my back.
3. Do you know what you want to do? “What we want to do” is often funded by “What we can do”.
Did you know you can take the Bolt Bus from D.C. to Philli, New York or Boston for 20$!! You can get your money together, find a hotel room and take your best friend to a city on the Eastern Seaboard and apply for a job “You can do” while you intern at the “Job you want to do” whenever you are not working at the job “You can do”
— This is the point where I really want to tell you about my experiences with sleeping on people’s floors, couches, in my car… without heat, hot water, eating garbage… but you’re just going to have to wait for the book.

People love to go to the theatre and cry into a 20$ bucket of popcorn over an inspiring Will Smith movie, where he sleeps in the bathroom and figures out Rubics Cubes… nobody wants to be the one cleaning the toilets at the movie theatre… I’m gonna let you in on a secret… The person who cleans the toilets watches free movies, eats free popcorn and gets paid to do all of it. DO YOU GET MY DRIFT?
Lacers… you don’t have to be in a hurry to get out of anywhere… You have to find your dream. Fall in love with it. Become obsessed with it. Live your life chasing it. Living your life, chasing a dream means not every having to worry about where you are in the process. The opinions of others mean nothing to a person obsessed with the life they are living!
I truly believe that you can find your dream, plan it out and chase it for the rest of your life… smiling most all of the way.
